Environment
In its operations and developments, the company Mehler Engineered Products s.r.o. also pays attention to the environment, making maximum efforts to be considerate and efficient with respect to it.
- In 2005, the company MEP s.r.o. was certified according to standard ČSN ISO 14001:2004.
A lot of waste is generated during production, being separated on the spot of its origination - in the production. Emphasis is especially placed on the separating of the waste which may be recycled and dangerous waste. All generated waste is handed over to authorized legal entities that are certified to handle and dispose waste in accordance with the Waste Act.
Environmental protection belongs among the major priorities of our company. To ensure and continuously improve environmental protection, the company MEP s.r.o. has set and pursued the following key goals:
- to continuously develop the environmental awareness of its employees and suppliers to prevent any avoidable accidents and affects on the environment;
- to efficiently maintain and improve the certified quality system and the environmental protection system;
- to maintain greenery and plant trees, with the costs achieving up to 150,000 CZK annually;
- to elaborate the waste separation system a seek for its most efficient utilization;
- to construct a soundproof hall, with the costs of the measures to eliminate any noise leakage to the surrounding housing area exceeding the sum of 500 000 CZK.
Quality
The company MEP s.r.o. Jilemnice places major emphasis on quality. Any basic material supplied to our company goes through a process comprising of an input control, testing, evaluation and the comparing of outcomes with the standards for input materials.
- In 2001, the company MEP s.r.o. was certified according to standard ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001.
- In 2008, the company MEP s.r.o. was certified according to standard ISO/TS 16949:2002.
Quality control is continuously ensured and carried out during the production process. Production tests are applied according to designed testing plans. All essential process parameters and product characteristics are checked in accordance with the determined tolerances and specifications. All final products undergo a release test according to the testing plans. In this case, customer-specific specifications apply. When there are no customer-specific specifications available, the company’s own master models are used (based on the company’s experience).
All the testing record sheets documenting input goods acceptance tests, interoperation controls and final tests are archived under exact identification. Certificates showing measured parameters are issued for finished fabrics.

Testing Facilities – Measuring Devices
All the measuring gauges used to ensure quality of our products in the production and during the testing of raw materials, intermediate products and finished products are checked, adjusted and calibrated regularly. This guarantees our products´ stable quality.
